Balaia Golf Village is one of the Algarve’s best kept secrets. Less than 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and five minutes to Albufeira and ‘the strip’.
We have a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on this beautiful complex set within landscaped gardens of pine, cork and almond trees.
Open all year round, you can relax by one of the 6 swimming pools, play a round of golf on the complex’s nine hole, par three golf course or take a 15 minute stroll to one of the nearby beaches. Whatever your age there is something for everyone.
Balaia Reception is open 24 hours and the staff speak excellent English. They are able to answer most questions for you, book excursions, golf course visits, car hire or taxis and a range of services.
There is also internet access in an area in reception. (small charge payable at reception). Currency exchange and safety deposit box rental also available.
The complex has 24 hour security. Though we do recommend you take sensible precautions. i.e. use of safety deposit box and lock external doors and shutters when out and at night.
Golf facilities include a golf driving range, club house, putting green and practice bunker green. Tee off times for the complex golf course and other courses within easy reach from Balaia can be arranged through the reception.
Local charges apply for use of Tennis, Golf and Health Club facilities
Pool Side Towels are not provided so you will need to bring your own.

Balaia Golf Village is ideally situated between O’lhos de Agua and Oura in central Algarve region.
There is a shuttle bus to the centre of Albufeira; local bus service operates with bus stops just outside the complex. Taxis can also be arranged through reception, at reasonable rates. (Approximately 6 Euros into Albufeira).
Car Hire is not essential. Various excursions can also be arranged through reception. Within easy reach are water parks, a zoomarine park, popular with children. Also within easy reach along the Algarve coast are Lagos, Loule, Portimao and Vilamoura with its attractive marina and surrounding golf courses. For those who just love to shop transport can be arranged to the nearby Algarve Shopping Mall off the N125 near Guia.
