The apartment is close to the Tombs of the Kings (a World Heritage site), the harbour, medieval port, championship golf courses and aqua park.
The beautiful beaches at Coral Bay are about 10 minutes drive away. There is a very reliable bus service for these.
There are three golf courses in the area including the brand new Aphrodite Hills, which is a wonderful first class golfing village with a new and exiting championship golf course. It plays to par 70/71 and measures 6,232m. It has a wonderful hotel where you can treat yourself to various spa and beauty treatments, available at a very high standard at a reasonable rate for the day if you do not want to play a round of golf. You can also get a first class lunch here for a reasonable price.
Tsada Golf Club is approximately 25 mins away and is on an elevated position 550 metres above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to par 72 and measures 6,060 metres.
The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18km east of Paphos and lies within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 metres.
It is one hours drive from the Troodos Mountains. At the mountains you can either ski or snowboard. The Kykkos Monatry and Caledonian Falls are also here, plus a variety of fauna and flora in the nearby forest, where you can go fishing or bird watching.
There are a variety of churches in and around the area, including Catholic and Anglican. There is a very reliable bus service to the above places if you do not wish to drive. The entire district is scattered with places of historical and legendary interest. The island history dates back to the Neolithic age.
There are also the mosaics at the House of Dionyis, the Amphitheater and the birthplace of Aphrodite (The Goddess of Love). Again these are a short bus journey away.
There are lots of supermarkets, kiosks, fruit markets within walking distance where you can buy almost anything you want.
