The apartment is in the Ocean Park complex in the Torviscas area of Las Americas. It is very near all the best amenities ? shops, bars, entertainment, restaurants, shops, seafront etc. yet retains a quiet relaxed ambience. It is near routes- making independent taxi transport very easy.
Being on the ground floor, pool-facing within 10 metres of the swimming areas, and with only six small steps up from the ground level, it is suitable for both children and the elderly. The six steps would be the only obstacle to a wheelchair; there are no stairways, lifts or corridors to negotiate. The view is over the pool area - soak the sun with a glass of sangria in the afternoon while the kids catch the last of the days swimming!!!
The entrance to the complex is 20m down a quiet, private (barriered) road off the main thoroughfare. The seafront area is 10 mins walk using almost entirely pedestrian routes. The bi-weekly market is a similar prospect, and the modern San Eugenio shopping mall even closer. The aquapark is also 15mins. walk away.
There is a good sized double bedroom with two single beds and decent wardrobe space. Doors from the bedroom lead to a terrace at the rear. The bathroom has a good shower and good space, with a large functional mirror. The front room is an open plan kitchen lounge area with a breakfast bar. There is a double bed settee, sofa, easy chair and sundry furniture. French windows open to the front terrace with parasol, table seats and sun loungers.
The facilities are good ? better than package holiday standard. TV/DVD, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron/board, hairdryer, toaster, fridge, fan and safe secured to wall. There is no Sky TV but there is a TV+DVD player (DVDs rentable from the pub in the pool area, half a minute walk ? or bring your own). CD?s can also be played on the DVD player.
Although away from the hustle, the apartment is within 10 minutes of several of the top entertainment spots in Las Americas e.g. Harley?s diner club, St. Eugene?s live music club and the main Torviscas entertainment centre.

The artificial beaches are a haven for sun-worshippers, and they are full of fun and bustle at peak times in the year. If you?re looking for an easy holiday without speaking too much Spanish, then Playa de las Americas is for you. There are plenty of things to keep the children occupied, and many things such as playing for endless hours in the pool are absolutely free.
Please note any problems you may find with your accommodation must be noted to the property manager whilst out in tenerife there is a number to call in the apartment please do this whilst in tenerife as we can not accept any liability for any problems you may find also note that we may charge a security deposit this is refundable on arrival back to the UK on confirmation that the property is not damaged and all the apartments contents are intact please ensure balcony door keys and safe keys are left in the locks on your departure as this will effect the next people in the apartment
