This is the largest of three 2 bedroom apartments situated above the Sagittarius Restaurant in Tigaki, Kos. They were built in 2006. This apartment has one double and one triple bedroom plus two sofa beds in the lounge. There is one bathroom with bathtub/shower over, wc, wash handbasin & hair dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven/hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, juice maker, all cooking quipment, crockery/cutlery and dining table & chairs. The lounge has two sofa beds, two easy chairs and coffee table. There is satellite TV in the lounge and iron/ironing board. Air conditioning and safe box are available (local charge). Linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided and changed regularly. Maid service is 6 days per week. Children are welcome and cots and high chairs can be requested at time of booking. For extra convenience there is a washing machine available for use by all guests of our apartments.
Note: The rental rates apply for 4 persons. For each extra guest add 50 euros per week.

The Sagittarius Apartments are above the Sagittarius Restaurant which is 700 m from the lovely sandy beach of Tigaki. Nearby is the salt lake which attracts flamingoes at certain times of the year plus an array of certain rare species of bird. Tigaki is 12 km from the bustling Kos Town where there is plenty of choice for shopping and sightseeing. There is the castle, the ancient agora, the museum, the ruins of the old Kos City and of course the ancient Asklipeon of Hippocrates which is 2,500 years old. In Psalidi, about 5 km from Kos Town is the fun water park and soon to be finished is another in Mastichari only 10 km from Tigaki. In Tigaki there is a small selection of music and dancing bars but if you are looking for more action then Kos Town is only a short taxi ride away. There are various travel and exchange offices in Tigaki which arrange a good selection of excursions include island hops to Rhodes, Symi, the Holy island of Patmos, the sponge island of Kalymnos and the volcanic island of Nissyros, as well as tours of Kos Island and the traditional Greek night in the mountain village of Zia. The area around Tigaki is very flat so cycling is very popular. Horse riding and go carting are located only 2 km from Tigaki and local tennis courts and swimming pools are accessible to all guests. All in all Tigaki is mostly suitable for families with young children, those who want a fairly quiet holiday and those in the older age bracket who simply want to take it easy.
