The apartment block is located about 5 minutes from the marina in Puerto
Banus adjacent to the statue. The back gate opens unto the promenade, which
has nice plants, seats and a small playground. Steps lead directly unto the
main beach. There are a couple of beach bars and 3 restaurants along the
beach. Chairs, and umbrellas are available to hire. There is also plenty of
space to just park yourself on the sand.
Directly opposite the main entrance is a small tennis club and cafe. Cortes
Ingles the huge department store is about 5 minutes walk with a small local
centre in between which has shops, cafes, chemist, and hairdresser. Across
the road (under the bridge) there is a 24 hour garage and a shop so you need
never be stuck.
There are endless shops and restaurants in the area from cheap and cheerful
to mega bucks. Also plenty of bars and late night activity.
The apartment is on the ground floor facing over the pool so it is very
quiet even though it’s in the centre of everything. There is a designated
parking spot in the basement.
Security staff work 24/7 and access is controlled through the 2 gates. The 2
pools are open from 10.00 till about 20.00 with lifeguards during the
summer.
We have a local English-speaking caretaker to meet guests on arrival and
who is available if any problems occur.
The apartment itself has 3 bedrooms each with a double bed and one with an
additional single. A cot is also available. Two of these open out unto the
balcony. There are 2 bathrooms also one en suite.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer
dryer, microwave etc.
There is a TV, DVD, CD player and a video with a small selection of videos
and DVDs available in the living room. There is also a TV and DVD player in
the main bedroom, there will be free to air satellite TV in the main living
room in 2005(astra 2 bbc channels ,astra 1)
There is also some board games suitable for younger children
There is air-conditioning and heating in the apartment, a small safe, and a
barbeque, tables and chairs on the balcony and some kids pool toys.
Cleaning is normally once a week but can be more frequent by arrangement.
Towels, beach towels and linen are all provided.
Car hire is very easy from the airport but if you would prefer not to drive
we can arrange a pickup from the airport.
Everything is within walking distance of the apartment and a car isn’t
always required. The bus service along the coast is excellent and allows
easy day trips to Malaga, Marbella,Estepona and Gibraltar if you're feeling
adventurous.
Taxis are plentiful and good value for short journeys.
Normally the apartment is available from 5.00pm on the day of arrival and
departure by 10.00am on the last day.
A 50% Deposit (non returnable) will secure a booking with the remainder
payable 1 month before arrival date,payment can be made with a credit card
