Kalkan is a picturesque harbour town set in the heart of the Lycian region of Turkey which makes site seeing varied and interesting. Places to visit include Xanthos, Patara and Saklikent Gorge. There are also lots of beaches and hidden coves for the sun worshipers including the famous Patara and Olu Deniz beaches, Kaputas beach and many different beach clubs that also offer a variety of water sports and diving.
