Located about half way between the towns of Torrevieja and Orihuela, away from the tourist resorts, yet just 40 minutes drive from Alicante airport, 15 minutes drive from sandy beaches and about 10-15 minutes drive from 4 lovely golf courses.
Situated near orange and lemon plantations, this pleasant and comfortable south-facing upper floor duplex style (2 storey building) apartment makes an ideal location for visiting the Spanish Costa Blanca and beyond…
'Chispa Latina' (spanish for ''Latin Sparkle”) can sleep up to 4 (5 if using sofabed) in 2 comfortably sized bedrooms - one double, one twin. Inside it comprises: living room / dining room with TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo / CD player, dining table and 4 chairs; kitchen with large fridge freezer, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, extractor, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board; bathroom with bath and shower. Outside there is a good sized south-facing balcony with table and 4 chairs, with stairs to the solarium, equipped with a barbecue, swinging sofa for relaxing and sun loungers. The salt lakes of Torrevieja and the Mediterranean are visible from the solarium on clear days. Behind the building is access to the shared pool area (shared with other residents).
Prices include: welcome pack, mains water, electricity, freshly laundered linen and towels. We run promotions from time to time.
Optional Extras: our caretaker can provide meet and greet at the house and midweek laundry. Services can be booked through us and are in addition to the rental costs.
A 35 GBP charge will be added to the total cost of your stay to cover cleaning.
Changeover days are flexible so that you can take advantage of the many mid-week cheap flights into Alicante or Murcia.

There are many things to do and places to visit within easy driving distance: Beaches: there are popular sandy beaches within 15 minutes drive. Golf: there are 4 lovely golf courses within 10-15 minutes drive. Torrevieja: on the Costa Blanca coast, about 15 minutes drive. Plenty of sandy beaches, parks, shops, bars, restaurants, a water park and places to walk. Well known for its salt water lakes, which attract many species of birds including flamingoes, and are used by some seeking a natural way to alleviate pain. Orihuela: historic and traditional inland town, away from the tourist resorts - about 15 minutes drive. Alicante: capital of the province with palm-lined avenues, modern harbour, an ancient castle and sandy beaches - approximately 45 minutes drive. Murcia: about 1 hour's drive - a truly Spanish city with historic centre of narrow streets, squares and churches. Elche: about 25 minutes drive, surrounded by thousands of date palms - most famous being the Imperial Palm. You can visit the 12th century Arabic Baths, museum and 18th century basilica. Guadalest: beautiful fortress village in the mountains of the Sierra de Aitana, perched on a rocky crag above almond terraces and olive groves. Water Park: it is about 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Benidorm's impressive Aqualandia, Europe's largest water park.
