The typically Spanish fishing port of Denia is only a 5 min drive away with the nearest beach only a 3 min drive.
Entry to the house from road level is up an exterior staircase to the front door that leads into the hall with a wall fitted mirror and chest. The hall leads into the dining room furnished with a table and 6 chairs and a corner base unit. To the left of the dining room is the fully fitted American style kitchen equipped with electric oven & hob, fridge freezer, electric kettle, combination microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery, crockery and utensils. The living room is to the right of the dining room where there is a feature fireplace with a log burner. It is furnished with 2 sofas, armchair, 2 storage units, TV & cabinet, books, DVD player & DVD’s and a video recorder & videos. A set of glazed double doors leads out on to the balcony with a table and 4 chairs. Between the living and dining rooms a small lobby with a base & wall unit leads to the shower room with a shower cubicle, basin, toilet and wall cabinet and bedroom 1 with a double bed, built in wardrobes, 2 bedside cabinets and a wall mirror. A staircase from the dining room leads down to the ground floor and into a pleasant sitting room with a table, 4 chairs, sofa, sideboard, music centre and 2 standard lamps. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are to the right of the sitting room with bedroom 2 having a double bed and bedroom 3 having 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes, bedside cabinets, a wall mirror and double doors leading out onto the terrace. All 3 bedrooms are cooled with ceiling fans. The bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, basin and toilet is also off the sitting room as well as a large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, base & wall units, sink, storage unit, vacuum cleaner, iron & board and a clothes airer. Outside, the naya (covered terrace) has a table, 4 chairs, 2 sunloungers and a portable barbeque.

The town of Denia, thought to be named after the Roman Temple of Diana. is situated at the foot of Montgo Mountain and is a very vibrant place. The beach that stretches for some 15 km begins just to the north of Denia is sandy in the town itself and is an ideal place for sunbathing and swimming. The port of Denia is very important to the town with the daily fish market and regular ferries to the Balearic Islands. The trip to the island of Ibiza takes only 2 hours. There is a large marina housing some 1000 moorings. Denia has an old castle that is now an archaeological museum that shows the towns history. In the town you will find all modern facilities but around the narrow streets of the fishing quarter all the towns history can be revealed. The restaurants in town are of excellent quality serving all foods including traditional paella and a great variety of fresh seafood. The scenic drive to the other side of Montgo Mountain takes you into the town of Javea.
