Les Conifères is a newly renovated farmhouse, set in a peaceful farming hamlet, with 3 comfortable en-suite Bed & Breakfast rooms, (plus a Self Catering Cottage equipped for 2 to 4 persons.)
We have a choice of three rooms - Double, Twin or Family, all comfortably and attractively furnished, and equipped with en-suite wc, washbasin and shower, colour television, clock radio, and tea/coffee making facilities. The guest dining room also doubles as a lounge area, with Satellite TV, radio, books and games, and outside there is a large garden area with picnic bench, and childrens swing, which you are welcome to use during your stay.
We offer a continental breakfast, including, of course, croissants and pains aux chocolats, plus preserves, cereals, fruit and French bread etc as standard, but can also provide a cooked English breakfast if you prefer, for a small extra charge.
We can provide an evening meal on the day of arrival, by prior arrangement, but there are a number of good restaurants within easy reach, and even a MacDonalds in Fontenay!

The Vendée is renowned for it's climate, being the second sunniest area of France after the Mediterranean coast.
Les Conifères is set in the tiny hamlet of Chantegros, which is conveniently located only 15 mins from the A83 motor way, 3k from the village of St Hilaire des Loges, 2k from the bustling small market town of Coulonges sur l'Autize, and close to the historical towns of
Fontenay le Comte and Niort.
The beautiful Forest of Mervent-Vouvant is only 10 minutes away, and an easy 50 minute journey will take you to the Atlantic coast at La Rochelle. The tranquil waterways of the Venise Verte are close by, and the theme park of Futuroscope, near Poitiers is only an hour away.
