| Description of Secluded seaside cottage for rent in Bahamas: |
This beautiful cottage is situated on Elbow Cay in a one-acre private and secluded waterfront garden with another similar cottage. The cottage, surrounded by trees, is painted in pastel colours and has a screened in veranda with outdoor furniture in wicker and tropical design.
Inside the cottage downstairs is an open dining and living area with an immaculately clean kitchen. One of the two bedrooms is located on this level with two single beds, and another upstairs with a queen sized bed. From the comfort of your veranda you have a tranquil view of the waterfront and dock area where you can keep your boat if you decide to rent one during your stay.
The cottage, although best accessed by boat can also be accessed on foot from the main village (20 minute walk) or golf cart. However, a boat is the best and easiest way to visit at your own pace the neighbouring islands, even for boating novices.
No Smoking permitted.

More information on Abaco
|
You can visit the Pelican Cay National Park, an underwater preserve; or, the Abaco National Park, an 8 296 hectare site in southern Abaco encompassing the nesting area and habitat of the Abaco Parrot. Or spend a quiet afternoon at the Albert Lowe Museum in Hope Town, a restored 150-year-old mansion that now houses exhibits on local history. Hope Town on Elbow Cay is also home to a candy-striped lighthouse standing guard over a picture-book harbour. A guide will show you around and tell you how the lighthouse operates. Nearby Man-O-War Cay has always depended on shipbuilding for its livelihood. Some boats are still handmade without plans in a tradition that has been passed down for centuries. The town here resembles a New England sea-side village, save for the palm trees and tropical breezes. There are relatively few green turtles remaining on Green Turtle Cay, but they are bred here on farms and considered food. On occasion, boiled turtle or turtle stew will appear on restaurant menu.
