This charming octagonal cottage, located right on the beach, is part of a small cluster of three cottages that are part of a laid back getaway on North Andros, an island untouched by mass tourism. It is truly a place for people who want to escape to the simple beauty of nature.
The cottage is the perfect place for a romantic retreat although it has the capacity to sleep four people in total. The main part of the cottage looks out onto the beach and ocean through sliding glass doors. Inside is all open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for four persons, sofa and chairs and a large plush king size bed from which you can see the ocean when laying in bed. This room opens into a shared bathroom with a shower. Beyond the bathroom is a second smaller room with two single beds and a door that opens out onto the side veranda. The cottage has central air conditioning, an outdoor shower for washing off the sand from the beach before entering the cottage, and a veranda in the front.
Included in rental of the cottage is the use of kayaks, bicycles and snorkelling equipment, beach chairs and hammocks. If you desire, for an additional cost, you can also rent a small boat for exploring, fishing or snorkelling and eat some home cooked Bahamian food at the tiki hut that sits on the beach.

Andros is home to a wide diversity of unique landscape of wildlife with wild bore, iguanas and several species of migratory birds. You can also swim in inland blue holes and snorkel the third largest barrier reef in the world that runs almost the entire length of the island. Visit a factory that manufactures a cloth specific to the island known as “Androsia” which is a form of batik using bright colours. Andros Red Bays Village is known throughout the islands for its distinct style of tightly woven baskets made from silvertop palm trees. These beautiful baskets are available for purchase from the locals who are descendants of Seminole Indians and slaves who have been taught this traditional since childhood. Here, as well, you will also be able to purchase the creations of local talented wood carvers.
