This brand new octagon shaped cottage is one of two on a property that overlooks the ocean. Each romantic cottage has the same amenities but is decorated with different designs. There is an amazing 180° unobstructed view of the ocean, cathedral ceilings, wooden verandas, a plush queen sized bed, comfortable chairs and couches, large closets and a dresser with plenty of room for storage.
There is a large BBQ grill and freshwater swimming pool with a hot tub that is shared by both cottages and the owners, who live at a discreet distance on site. Just steps from the pool is located the beach where you find comfortable hammocks and a shaded cabana strung with lights, perfect for a lazy afternoon nap or a romantic gathering under a starry night.
Upon your arrival, the friendly owners of this little hideaway will meet you at the airport and bring back to the cottage, if you wish you can stop along the way for any food items you wish to purchase. The fridge will be already stocked with various drinks to be used like an honour bar and pay for what you have drink at the end of your visit.
The island is full of stunning deserted beaches kissed by turquoise waters.
Smoking permitted outside the cottage only. Use of kayaks, bicycles and snorkelling equipment included in the price of the rental.

Untainted by tourism, Cat Island is the sixth-largest island in The Bahamas with a population of only 1 648 inhabitants. It is home to the highest point in the Bahamas at 36 metres. Here you find a small monastery built by Father Jerome, known for building cathedrals and convents throughout The Bahamas. Visit the ruins of Deveaux Mansion, an 18th century plantation house and see the remains of many older abandoned houses left empty where some believe that the spirit of the dead still occupy the house and therefore the houses are not torn down. Drive along the main road of Cat Island and enjoy the amazing views of sparkling turquoise water and sugar soft sand beaches that dot the length of the island.
