The apartment is overlooking the town square of La Mata with the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops all within a few minutes walk.
This self catering apartment is on the second floor and access is via a security door and there is a lift as well as the stairs. The apartment has two bedrooms, one double, opening onto balcony, one twin and has a double bed settee in the lounge.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and utility room with microwave, washing machine, iron etc. The bathroom has a bidet, shower and a bath and the bright lounge opens onto the balcony which overlooks the town square and the beach.
All linen and towels, including beach towels, are provided.
On arrival a welcome pack of groceries are provided.
La Mata is close to both Alicante and Murcia airports which are served by low cost and national airlines and airport transfers can be arranged when booking

The apartment is two minutes walk from La Mata beach which is a blue flag beach with fine sand and nice promenade, services include restaurants, parking, bus stop, tourist information, telephones, foot showers, First Aid and lifeguard posts, boardwalks and access for wheel chairs, sun umbrellas and sun beds for hire, wind surfing, childrens games and beach sports facilities
Local amenities include regular bus services to Torrievieja town centre from the square and to Alicante and Cartegena from a bus stop 5 minutes from the apartment.
There are also many restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk as well as a supermarket and other shops. All tastes are catered for from traditional Spanish food, Chinese, Scandinavian to an Irish theme pub which does traditional British fare
Every Wednesday is market day in La Mata with several hundred stalls selling clothing, leather goods, shoes, handicrafts, ceramics, paintings, herbs, fruits and vegetables and freshly cooked food to take away.
La Mata is surrounded by the nature reserves of Las Salinas de La Mata, famed for the 100 species of birds that feed in the reed beds, in particular pink flamingoes. The sand dunes and pine forests that stretch behind the beach from La Mata to Guardamar are a protected area..La Mata is a resort ideal for families or couples, with a relaxed Spanish environment and it is close to several excellent golf courses where you can enjoy a round of golf in the sun all year round at the many nearby beautiful courses.There are two water parks nearby and in Torrevieja there are boat trips to Isla Tabarca, a fairground to amuse the children and a Safari Park at Santa Pola just a few miles away. At Torrevieja are two museums and Cartagena and Alicante are a bus ride away.
