Pinar de Campoverde is typicalSpanish village about 5 miles inland with views to the Mediterranean and Mar Menor. It has a mixed community of local Spanish people and British and German ex patriots.The centre of Campoverde is a pleasant 20 minute walk or a 5 min driveaway and has several bars, restaurants, supermarket, bank etc. There is a street market on Sunday mornings where locally produced fruit and vegtables can be bought along with many other items.The famous Natural Park of Rio Seca, where you can walk along the now dry riverbed which has carved a spectacular gorge, is within walking distance of the village
