Villa Hacienda is a fabulous modern purpose built family villa near Marbella that provides every modern practical comfort for holiday guests, business visitors and travellers to Marbella, Malaga or the Costa Del Sol.

While offering a luxury specification Villa Hacienda was designed to be a functional family home capable of accommodating up to 12 people in modern comfort all year round. We also provide longer lets during winter months at special rates. Our guests are not treated like sheep!!! You do not have to arrive on certain days at certain times!
We often greet on arrival or forward keys to our guests in order to provide them with complete flexibility - whatever suites your needs best.

Set in a residential suburb of East Marbella, near Puerto Cabopino, the accommodation is centrally located for (firstly) an easy arrival from either Malaga or Gibraltar airport, and then convenient for the necessities of life like shopping, banking or keeping the kids happy!!, plus the nicer things like the Meditteranean, lovely beaches, nightlife, sports marinas, golfing, restaurants, malls, sightseeing plus easy access to all major highways into rural and inland areas (for the adventurous) plus the major busy local towns or Marbella and Malaga.

If indoor life if more your thing then you can enjoy watching TV, video, music or DVD entertainment, then perhaps venture out sunbathing on one of the many sunny breakfast terraces or swim in the huge heated pool.

LOCATION:
Hacienda Las Chapas, near Puerto Cabopino, East Marbella, is located just off the main Carretera de Cadiz, N340 motorway.

This is an ideally located, sought after, residential suburb of Marbella which provides a central point of transit from Malaga or Gibraltar international airports travelling time approx 40 minutes (Malaga) or 55 minutes (Gibraltar). Located within a short walk of Puerto Cabopino sports marina and its blue flag quality beaches.



OVERVIEW:
This 6 bedroom family villa was constructed in 1997 and so still rates as a new property in architectural terms. 5 bedrooms are made available when letting with the 6th used for storage. The house was planned from scratch to accommodate family and guests with a high degree of luxury but with functionality and comfort. The location was also vital to the plan, being a suburb of east Marbella where those select few neighbours all occupy very substantial homes. There is a 24 hour community security service operating and for added peace of mind should you wish you may use the villa alarm system which is also connected to the alarm company.



LOCAL USEFUL AMENITIES:
Locally, as well as the large range of Calahonda, Mijas Costa, Elviria and Marbella supermarkets and gift shops, over the last 18 months several 24 hour supermarkets and chemists have also been opened so you can never get caught short. The villa has 2 large refrigerators both with freezers ideal to store plenty of fresh food in case you have guests over for a BBQ. The usual banking services are provided locally with all banks providing English speaking assistance in the branch, plus an abundance of round the clock cash point machines. In the winter most bank branches are open 8.30am until 4.30pm (summer 8.30 until 2.00pm).


VILLA FACILITIES: OUTDOORS & GARDEN
Electric main entrance gates to private driveway, east side villa front entrance and lower north side rear car park and gardens entrance. Private parking for six vehicles off road with plenty of additional space at roadside.

Located south side of the villa, amidst lawned gardens planted with palm and banana trees and tropical borders, is a large heated swimming pool with a rustic terracotta tiled surround. Swimming pool measures 14.2 meters (46 feet) long x 7.4 meters (23 feet) wide with roman steps to a deep entry of approx 1.75m and at the very deep end approx 3 meters. Dolphin water feature at south end of swimming pool and tiled shower at north end. As parents, please ensure minors are monitored around the pool area and not left unattended.

The west side of gardens is very private covered with trees and behind is a large forested private valley, no construction! North side of main entrance driveway is lined and covered with large pine trees, large ferns and tropical foliage. South end of gardens is lined with large trees and palms. East side of gardens has a large brick built wall with iron work which at the other side runs a small no through road into Hacienda Las Chaps. Its a very private location!

The swimming pool pump and garden shed are located away from pool area on west side of villa so pool pump cannot be heard while sunbathing or outdoors. 2 large BBQs are provided for use of guests, with a supply of BBQ coals provided.

6 sun loungers are provided at poolside with padded cushions and 4 other folding sun loungers with cushions. 2 outdoor dining tables are located poolside (with large parasols) both seating 4 persons, a further large 6 place dining table (with padded seating) is located on the middle floor covered terrace along with 5 additional separate seating places (padded chairs) and side tables handy for junior guests. On the top floor solarium terrace there are also a pair of sun loungers with covers, a sun parasol and drinks table.



VILLA FACILITIES: BEDROOMS
Across three floors, the villa provides 3 double bedroom suites plus 2 twin rooms plus additional pine and travel cots and folding beds for additional junior guests. One twin room on top floor, one double suite on middle floor, 2 doubles and 1 twin bedroom suite on lower floor.

The middle floor suite is also ideal for senior guests as there are no stairs to use at all and the room includes a comfortable leather two piece suite and TV video area.

Upstairs room one room (a 6th bedroom) is permanently locked for private belongings. All bed linen and laundry is provided in ample amounts. Egyptian cotton hand and bath towels provided plus soaps. We also have beach towels at the villa but we suggest if you want these specifically you please bring your own as guests can often loose these by accident, leave them at the beach etc!

You may call Philip our valet or our housekeeper Susan in the event you have any special laundry or housekeeping needs at all during your stay. Their telephone numbers are located in the main lounge on a plastic laminated list.

All bedrooms are decorated with soft pastel shades and matching curtains and soft furnishings.


FACILITIES: BATHROOMS
There are two full bathrooms and a shower room well stocked with Egyptian cotton hand and bath towels and various soaps, plenty of natural lighting and central heating plus AC ventilation.


FACILITIES: KITCHEN
Modern west facing bright breakfast kitchen with utility room, 4 place dining table and 2 separate seating places (most guests however choose to take breakfast on main covered terrace or poolside!). One large fridge freezer located in kitchen and another located in utility room (with a washing machine, there is also a separate laundry room downstairs). Whirlpool microwave oven, ceramic hob oven with extractor hood plus large dishwasher. Plenty of lighting available for cooking via halogen downlighters and mini florescent tube lights. Telephone key link to main gates entrance.


DINING ROOM
Spacious modern 8 place dining room table and chairs located in a separate dining area adjacent to the kitchen for easy catering. Views south over the swimming pool and west across the valley.

MAIN LOUNGE
The centre piece of the villas middle floor, a very large open salon lounge with plenty of natural lighting from ceiling high sliding double thickness glass patio doors. As you enter the main east entrance you pass through a lobby entrance via large sliding doors into this area. Direct access is provided from here to the main south side covered sun terrace and swimming pool area, also to the separate TV lounge and separate dining area plus kitchen. Open fire place with piano overlooking swimming pool, especially nice on an evening with pool underwater lighting switched on!

TV LOUNGE
With views south over the pool and gardens, you can relax here on a nice soft sofa and simply watch Sky TV or a DVD, especially nice on an evening with pool underwater lighting switched on! Please note the satellite card package is British freeview, BBC and ITV plus various free channels.

GROUND FLOOR INDOOR PLAY AREA
Downstairs along with 2 double bedrooms and one twin room (plus a full bathroom suite) there is also a very large open area with direct access to the swimming pool and gardens. It is setup ideally for juniors with a TV/video and covered sofas. There is a handy large glass sliding patio door which may be kept shut to prevent very small children from getting out into the garden or pool area, and on an evening it is really handy area to let juniors play freely and safely. If you have juniors travelling in your party let us know and we will provide some additional toys and items of interest.

This lower floor access is also handy if you have been swimming as you can access the lower bedrooms from the garden without having to use the upper villa entrance.

HEATING AND COOLING:
Heating (when required which is not often!) is via traditional gas central heating radiators and cooling via pre-installed air conditioning system. Additional mobile heating and cooling units are also available at the villa, ideal where additional numbers of guests are being accommodated.

SERVICES
We aim to make your stay at Villa Hacienda as pleasant as possible. Philip is available locally to assist with anything you may need and also provides a handy service should you want a lift to or from the airport, to Gibraltar, Mijas or Malaga or simply sightseeing or shopping. He is usually less expensive than a taxi! In an emergency you may also call Philip 24 hours per day, with contact numbers provided at the villa. Susan and Theresa our housekeepers are also available should you require a maid service, help clearing up after a BBQ or just general family cleaning (a very reasonable additional hourly charge is payable locally).

If you wish use of the telephone landline, perhaps for business, internet connection etc, then please advise and an additional deposit of Ģ200 is payable from which your consumption will be charged (final telephone accounts can take up to 56 days to arrive). In the event you have, or intend to, use more than this limit we would request an additional payment.

If you wish to treat yourself to some fine dining at home then we can normally arrange a chef to cater for your party at the villa, there is a minimum charge and this is strictly by advance booking only. Likewise if you want to enjoy an evening out we do have a very reliable and trusted babysitter whom we have used for several years, again please arrange this well in advance.

We have a very good local 24 hour chemist and medical centre in the event somebody needs attention. If you have the need for specialist medical attention we also have a local nursing agency and English speaking doctor who will happily assist by arrangement. We always recommend travel insurance for total peace of mind!
