The petite maison is a 19th Century cottage that has been totally upgraded with a new roof, electrical system, insulation and sanitation. Central-heating has been installed making for year-round accommodation.
There is a large living-room/dining area, kitchen and shower-room/WC on the ground floor. Upstairs is the principal bedroom with a double-bed, and a gallery room with twin beds. The sofa can convert to a double bed if six people occupy the cottage.
All utilities and linen are included in the price. If using the cot, we ask you to bring your own bed-linen and pillows.

The village of Fontaines has two bakeries, two hairdressers, general food store, three cafes including a hotel that caters for lunch and evening meals, butcher, post office, dentist and two doctors.
This is wine growing country with plnty of domains to visit. Close to the Canal du Centre it has a walking.bicycling vois verte (path) that goes for many miles.
Chalon has swimming pools, cinemas, good restaurants, a pedestrian shopping area, and museums.
Close by is Beaurne, Dijon and Chagny, the later with an interesting Sunday market.
