Altinkum / Didim area
Altinkum is a quiet resort but comes to life in the evenings with many wonderful restaurants and bars. Some have special turkish evenings which include belly dancing. For the more lively there are clubs for dancing, the best of which is the Medusa open air colloseum which plays Disco music to the early hours.
The local market sells leather goods,clothes,lace and home grown produce at good prices. The marina offers a good selection of boat trips to local coves and beaches. Ferries also run to Bodrum which is a cosmopolitan town
