Haus Luxus is a small guest house situated in the quiet area of Stillupklamm in Mayrhofen. The chalet has 10 beds, a large garden and plenty of parking space. The free bus service runs just 100m from our front door.
Our lounge has a TV/DVD player with a selection of DVDs, XBox with a selection of games, Apple computer for emails or surfing plus a selection of books and board games. The ski room has a heated boot rack and service table with waxing iron and service tools.
Each bedroom has a sink, TV/DVD player, stereo with MP3 adaptor, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and alarm clock. Every room also has a spacious balcony with mountain views. There is a bathroom on each floor with a bath and/or shower plus complimentary toilettries.
Half Board includes 7 nights accommodation, English/Continental Breakfast, Afternoon Tea with homemade cakes, early children's dinner comprising of two courses, pre-dinner drinks & canapes, plus a 4 course evening meal with complimentary wine, schnapps, coffee & mints.
You can also pre-book your lift passes, equipment hire and ski/snowboard school to ensure minimum time is spent before getting on the mountain.

|
Mayrhofen is a popular resort for both winter and summer. There are 7 skiing areas in the Zillertal covered by one lift pass, including the Hintertux glacier, which is also open during the summer months. Mayrhofen is well known for it's lively apres ski and nightlife but you can also find quieter bars in which to relax after a hard days skiing/snowboarding. For non skiers, there are plenty of activities, such as winter walks, tobogganning, sleigh rides, skidoos, swimming and spas.
During the summer months, there are endless opportunities in the mountains. At the moment, the resort is most popular with walkers, but there are many mountain bike trails and road cycling loops to make Mayrhofen an up and coming cycling centre. For the past three years, the post Tour de France cycling criterium race has been held in Mayrhofen and the TransAlp mountain bike race has passed through. There are also other activities, such as horse riding, climbing, rafting, canyoning and hydrospeed. The Zillertal is also very popular with paraglider and hang glider pilots, and top level competitions have been held here over the years. There are some very good excursion companies in the village, who offer trips all over Austria and Italy, for example, to Salzburg, the Dolomites, Venice. Of course, you don't have to be active all the time, sometimes it's just nice to sit on the mountain and enjoy the breathtaking views!
