Situation:
The best way to see Gomera is by taking a stroll along its streets and chatting to the locals. One can see how much the gomerans love their land, the oldest in the Canaries where volcanos and badlands have disappeared to form deep inaccessible ravines.
The gomeran whistle was born here-between Cruz de Tierno and Roque Blanco.The inhabitants used this curious system for conversating from one ravine to another and even with all the island, passing on the messages among the crags.
Hermigua, the charming valley in La Gomera is a whole world for those who love small things, its mystical rocks and the affability of the people. Hermigua´s beach is 5Km far.
